Tzvetan Vassilev Became Banker of the Year for the 4^th time

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Corporate Commercial Bank AD Tzvetan Vassilev is the 2013 Banker of the Year.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Corporate Commercial Bank AD Tzvetan Vassilev  has become the 2013 Banker of the Year in the 21^st edition of the awards, organized by the Banker financial periodical. The prize is awarded to Tzvetan Vassilev for Corpbank AD’s effective policy and sustainable market development. This is Tzvetan Vassilev’s fourth Banker of the Year award. He has already received the 2003 award for dynamic bank management, the 2008 award for the development of Bulgarian capital in the Bulgarian banking system, and the 2010 award for market sustainability.

Tzvetan Vassilev accepted the award and commented: "The crisis  not only presents big challenges, but also provides big opportunities. The period between 2008 and 2013 was particularly successful for Corporate Commercial Bank AD. We managed to increase our assets and capital four times. I would like to thank the bank’s management and employees and, of course, our clients who did not succumb to the pressure and remained loyal to Coprbank AD."

Corpbank AD’s Chairman of the Supervisory Board expressed his gratitude to his family and his spouse, Professor Antoaneta Vassileva, PhD. He thanked them for their support throughout all the challenges they faced. "I believe that the stability of the banking system ensures the stability of economic development. I am glad that unlike politicians, the members of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria, despite having different interests, manage to find a common ground and to work towards improving that stability", Vassilev added and he proceeded by congratulating his fellow bankers with the forthcoming holidays.
