Tzvetan Vassilev Has Never Asked For a Meeting With the French Ambassador to Bulgaria

Tzvetan Vassilev, majority shareholder of Corporate Commercial Bank AD, would like to make a few clarifications in connection with the interview given by the French ambassador to Bulgaria Xavier Lapeyre de Cabanes to Panorama, a television program of the Bulgarian National Television. The interview was broadcasted on July 18^th, 2014.

1. I have never tried to organize a meeting with the French ambassador to Bulgaria Xavier Lapeyre de Cabanes. Nor have I tried to seek any cooperation from him.

2. If the ambassador is trying to portray himself as a true "friend of Bulgaria" why has not he informed the respective European Union and Bulgarian institutions if he thinks that my activity has never been "beneficial for Bulgaria or Europe"?

3. If he stands by his words that "this bank has never been a normal bank and maybe the supervision on the bank has not been thorough" why has not he informed the respective authorities or the French investors who sold Credit Agricole Bulgaria EAD to Corporate Commercial Bank AD just a month ago?
